ABOUT
THE ALMAS
The Almas are a Portland rock band that was founded in early September 2005 by members Chris "Poncho Punch" Parr and Trevor "Sir Issac Lime" Fuentes. Along with the help of friend, guitarist, and producer Casey “Strawberry Short Cook” Chelius (who joined the band shortly after its inception in ’05) and a talented cast of rotating members including Reid “Rip Van Lemon” North, Dustin “Louie Blue Raspberry” Fuentes, Randy "Little Orphan Orange" Richardson, folk-drummer and strummer Justin “Otter Pop” Hall, master-basser Anders “The Grape” Ericson, and many more, the band has continued to impress over the years with its growth both musically and lyrically. With catchy tunes like “Los Angeles” and “All I Know (Find the World)," rockers like “You’re Breaking Up” and the anthemic “Drive," the band is well on their way. The Almas, translating to “The Souls” in Spanish, is more than simply a band. It is an artistic collective. A group of lost souls sharing this crazy experience called life together, loving, laughing, and learning along the way. It is music being made by friends and fans of music. So without further ado, we proudly present to you: The Almas...
